Bumped into the wool market by chance years ago when we wanted to discover Swabian cuisine. Since then we have been there countless times, including for birthdays. The service was always friendly, professional, attentive and unobtrusive. The cuisine is solid and always very tasty, the portions more than plentiful. The Maultaschen dishes are excellent, but the onion roast beef, the dish of the day or the schnitzel are also popular. We also like to get the potato salad out of order, because we haven't found a better one so far, the price-performance ratio is more than fair (there are also good children's plates), the furnishings are a bit reminiscent of an alpine hut, but are cozy. We have never been disappointed and can unconditionally recommend the place. Kudos to the boss and his team, stay as you are. :)

Good Swabian food. Price / performance fits. When onion roast with my son a few fried potatoes could have been more (currently has a good appetite). Food tasted all but very good. Can you recommend it!

A quaint restaurant with authentic Swabian cuisine ... Since my first visit, a good year ago, there has been a very positive development - there is no smoking area anymore. The ruthless stinkers now have to go outside where they belong. The selection is extensive, in addition to the menu there are daily / special meals. The dishes are of high quality, visually appealing and delicious. The value for money is good and the staff attentive and very friendly. You should definitely reserve in the evening! The only (very small) point of criticism is the spaetzle, which comes from a soulless machine / press. Late guests can witness another generally good sign: The boss eats here himself ...
